BBQ-ing for a Good Cause

August 13, 2011 - We do a lot of BBQs at All Phase Restoration, but not all of them end up benefiting an entire community. We recently got to help out at one that did. The Swanty Allstate Agency hosted their BBQ so all proceeds could go toward the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as part of the Cassia Rocks! team. The event, which included great food, live music and kids' games, raised about $1,000 that will end up going toward juvenile diabetes research. All fundraising will culminate in a JDRF walk on September 11th at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

Ladies' Night

June 17, 2011 - All Phase Restoration, Novus Glass and Banyon recently treated about 35 of our female clients to an evening of food, drink and paint. Hosted at Studio Vino in Loveland, we invited guests to come learn how to create their very own work of art with the help of an artertainer. It was a fun night with a great group and we look forward to doing it again soon!

Being There Before You Need Us

June 8, 2011 - At All Phase Restoration we spend a lot of time cleaning up after a disaster in someone's home. So when Ft. Collins Allstate agent Jeffrey Greco asked if we wanted to help prevent one, we jumped at the chance. Greco has clients whose home backs up to the Poudre River and has flooded previously when the water level rose. This year, with a group of their neighbors they decided to be proactive and fortify their homes with sandbags before the water got too close.

Because we're used to arid conditions most of the time here in Northern Colorado, a flood may seem like an surreal thing to expect. But right now snowpack at the mouth of the Poudre Canyon is high. The river's currently flowing at about 2,800 cfs (cubic feet per second) and as the summer heats up, that number is expected to rise.

With seven extra sets of hands filling, tying, and positioning sandbags, the dam was all but ready to go in a matter of a couple of hours. We applaud both these homeowners for being so proactive in protecting their homes, and Jeffrey Greco for keeping his customers in good hands.
